SAEAN's 30-Ton Electric Truck ET-30 Supports 200kW Fast Charging and Enhanced Convenience Features
SAEAN Group has announced that its 30-ton articulated electric truck, the ET-30, will feature 200kW DC fast charging capabilities. The 30-ton ET-30, which will be mass-produced this year, now supports DC 200kW fast charging. The truck has achieved exceptional battery stability, capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -35°C to +55°C.
In addition, the ET-30 electric truck supports the global standards with its CCS1 connector and OCPP1.6 protocol. It also offers easy payment functionality with credit cards and RFID cards, enhancing user convenience.
The ET-30 features a body size of 8,354mm in length, 2,600mm in width, and 3,328mm in height. It is powered by a 410kW electric motor, delivering 557 horsepower and a powerful 2,500Nm of torque. The truck’s maximum safe speed is 48 km/h.
On a full charge, the ET-30 can travel up to 100 km. Considering that the average daily driving distance for trucks in typical construction work environments is around 20 km, the ET-30 can operate for up to 5 days on a single charge. Charging the battery from 20% to 90% via slow charging takes approximately 12 hours.
With a payload capacity of 27 tons and a 35-degree working incline angle, the ET-30 offers remarkable versatility. The articulated truck’s turning radius is just 6.7 meters, making it highly maneuverable in tight spaces such as tunnels and construction sites.
The ET-30 is equipped with two large tires on the cabin and four on the deck. The cabin and deck are connected via a hitch, ensuring flexibility. As an electric truck, the ET-30 stands out for producing zero emissions and offering a quiet ride, making it ideal for environments like tunnels where noise and exhaust are concerns.
Additionally, SAEAN's ET-30 electric truck will begin exports to Japan, with 20 units slated for delivery this year. The company plans to expand sales into international markets, including Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
