SAEAN Group Inc. is proud to announce the signing of a strategic partnership with Evermore Technologies, a global leader in advanced battery materials development, aimed at driving innovation in the next-generation battery industry.
The strategic partnership MOU was formalized at the opening ceremony of Evermore’s new ARC Center (Advanced Research Center) in Naju, South Korea.
The ceremony was attended by key dignitaries including Naju Mayor Byeong-tae Yoon, City Council Chairman Jae-nam Lee, and Jeonnam Provincial Investment Director Eun-soo Seo, alongside 70 leading figures from industry and academia. Representing SAEAN Group, Chairman Jung Yong Lee signed the MOU and shared his vision for the collaboration.
"The technological capabilities Evermore possesses will be pivotal in enabling sustainable and high-performance operations for electric trucks and other industrial applications," said Chairman Jung Yong Lee of SAEAN Group. "Through continuous technological collaboration, we aim to accelerate the transition to eco-friendly mobility together."
Under the MOU, SAEAN and Evermore will collaborate on the joint development of high-output battery technologies specifically optimized for SAEAN’s groundbreaking ET-30 — the world’s first articulated 30-ton electric truck. This partnership will focus on creating silicon-carbon anode-based batteries capable of delivering superior power output, durability, and safety.
Evermore's ARC Center is designed as a complete R&D hub, capable of independently carrying out all stages from raw material synthesis to full cell assembly and performance testing. It will focus on pioneering technologies such as silicon anodes, semi-solid electrolytes, and bio-based carbon materials. This state-of-the-art facility showcased innovations including the application of bio-carbon materials derived from livestock waste and advanced pressing processes that enhance safety by reducing explosion risks.
This collaboration is part of SAEAN's broader strategy to strengthen its battery supply chain and develop proprietary battery solutions aligned with its next-generation electric vehicle lineup, including the ET-30, EXOD sports cars, WiD SUVs, and future UAM (Urban Air Mobility) projects.
Through this partnership, SAEAN Group continues to build momentum in its mission to lead innovation in sustainable mobility and battery technologies globally.
