Plans to Build Battery Test Production Lines in Korea and Saudi Arabia
SAEAN Group Inc.'s dedicated "Hybrid Battery" research team is now in full operation, spearheaded by visionary CEO Jung Yong Lee. Recognizing the need for advanced battery solutions to power SAEAN’s ambitious projects—including the ET30 30-ton electric dump truck, electric forklifts, EXOD sports cars, and WiD SUVs slated for mass production by 2025—Lee is driving the development of cutting-edge "hybrid all-solid-state batteries."
This revolutionary battery technology combines the strengths of lithium polymer batteries and supercapacitors, offering unmatched resistance to extreme temperatures, shocks, and the risk of explosions. The innovation also leverages cost-effective vanadium, significantly reducing production costs, while achieving an energy density of over 250Wh/kg—far surpassing the 165Wh/kg of China's LFP batteries and even the 230Wh/kg of modern M3P batteries.
To accelerate this transformation, SAEAN plans to acquire two Korean battery technology firms early next year, establish a state-of-the-art battery R&D center, and launch test production lines in both Korea and Saudi Arabia. As part of its long-term strategy, the company is preparing for the first phase of its giga-factory projects.
Notably, Chairman Jung Yong Lee, a prolific innovator with over 26 battery-related patents—including zinc-air fuel cell technologies—is at the forefront of SAEAN’s drive toward sustainable energy excellence.
With its groundbreaking hybrid battery development and global production plans, SAEAN Group is not only reshaping the future of energy storage but also solidifying its position as a leader in eco-friendly innovation and next-generation mobility solutions.
