Offering Superior Payload, Power, and Maneuverability, the ET-30 Outshines Competitors in Key Performance Areas
SAEAN Group is set to unveil the world’s first articulated 30-ton electric truck, the ‘ET-30,’ with the first production vehicle launching soon. The ET-30 surpasses the competition, including the Volvo A25G, with a higher payload of 27 tons compared to Volvo’s 24 tons, and an impressive 35-degree hill climbing ability, outperforming the A25G’s 24-degree capability.
The truck also boasts a more compact turning radius of 6.7 meters—significantly smaller than Volvo’s 8-meter radius—making it easier to maneuver in confined spaces like tunnels. Powered by a robust 410 kW motor, the ET-30 delivers superior power compared to the competition’s 232 kW. It also leads the way in driving torque, achieving a maximum of 250 kg.m., far exceeding the 195 kg.m. offered by rivals.
The ET-30 will make its global debut in Saudi Arabia, Japan, and South Korea soon, with plans to expand to Australia, the United States, and Europe in the near future.
